The Smokers Club was born out of a simple philosophy: smoke weed every day. During one of our smoke sessions, we planted our seed in the Summer of 2010 with the goal of sharing our love of weed, culture, and music with the world. While putting one in the air, the idea to create an event where every smokers could celebrate his and her favorite hobby took shape and The Smokers Club came alive. We first hit the scene with an event at SXSW in March 2010, hosting an event featuring hip-hop’s then budding superstars like Wiz Khalifa, Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, Black Hippy, Smoke DZA, Big K.R.I.T., Devin The Dude, and more. With the venue selling out, it became clear that the fans’ love for good music and good vibes were in line with The Club’s vision and later that year a 24-city tour kicked off. Since then, The Smokers Club has evolved into an all-encompassing, leading marijuana lifestyle brand promoting good times, good weed, and cannabis legalization. Based out of New York City, The Smokers Club has hubs in Denver, Colorado, Los Angeles, California, and brings our annual fall tour–and plenty of smoke–to cities throughout America.

Why We Do It: “I grew up smokin’ weed and listening to music period!. I don’t recall doin’ much else ha!. There was the “Up In Smoke Tour” which I used to go to when I was a kid. I loved Snoop, Cypress, Redman etc. Now, you have us and we’re just an extension of what we grew up on. We’re basically taking our lifestyle on the road to party with our fans Smokin N’ Jokin’ feel me?.” -Jonny Shipes

Events: The Smokers Club curates high-end cannabis culture events ranging from our annual tour to the loudest party at 2015’s SXSW headlined by Dipset, Joey Bada$$, and Mick Jenkins.

Culture: 2015 has seen the Club put more focus on getting in touch with the community. Our revamped website features daily news updates, entertaining videos, choice music, and the loudest weed we can find. We’re also consultants for some of the best growers and dispensaries in the game. We entered our first Cannabis Cup over 4/20 weekend in Denver with the Garden of Weedn and won the top prize in the CBD concentrate category.

Apparel: We’re devoted to creating new and fresh gear for the stoner community. We update our online store frequently with new apparel ranging from weed-centric hats to shirts to sweatshirts to ashtray for the high class smokers out there. In the past few years we’ve made collaborations with the likes of LRG, Diamond Supply Co, and Grizzly Griptape.

Papers: The Smokers Club all natural hemp papers are available in select dispensaries and head shops throughout the country as well as our online store. To celebrate member Joey Bada$$’s album release, we created a special B4.DA.$$ release of Smokers Club papers. We’ll be releasing more collabs in the near future with the world’s premier roller, Tony Greenhand.

Videos: Every month, we release at least one video tailored to the smoking community. Whether we’re (literally) smoking salmon, filming Kangaroos at SXSW, or smoking 72 blunts at once, we make these videos with two goals in mind that drive us daily: 1) to have fun and 2) to entertain.
