Alright, it's not technically a brand new Soulo verse, but it's new to us. The freshly unearthed song called "Transgression" also features Da$H and Radamiz on the guitar-laden instrumental.
Producer Fifth God is gearing up to release his new project The Fifth Tape, and explained the song's history to Elevator, "I started working on this track back in 2014 when I had a clear vision of getting Da$H and Soul on a record together for The Fifth Tape. After successfully getting Da$H on the record, I was eventually able to get Soul on board via our mutual friend Hopelord. The record sat for a few years while I spent time perfecting and adding more tracks to the album."
Roll something fat up, enjoy the new boom bap slap, and pray along with us that Ab-Soul decides to follow ScHoolboy Q's lead by planning to drop a new album in 2019 because we need it. You know, if he's ready, no rush.
We haven't heard much from Soul in a while, and the sudden passing of Mac Miller was surely very difficult for the elusive artist, as they were great friends and frequent collaborators. So, we wish him well and hope to see (and hear) more from him when the time is right.
