New Haven's Myke Green Turns Up the Heat on "Grease"

New Haven, Connecticut is traditionally known for world-class pizza, prestigious Yale University, and being a quick train ride from the Big Apple. But the city's exploding music scene is garnering a lot more attention than it has in the past -- and not just in CT, either.

Myke Green is one of the artists leading the pack for a burgeoning new epicenter of hip-hop in New England. The versatile vocalist can bar you up or croon you down, and with assistance from frequent collaborators like phenom producer Ian French and fellow artist Smilelilcrybaby, the future seems bright for Green and his city.

Gearing up to release his highly anticipated Deadboy project, Mykey has been letting loose a string of new singles and videos. The latest is "Grease," a quick masterclass in melody that will have you running it back for multiple listens, especially in the whip. The song features production from Purps of 808 Mafia and the video was shot by Al20cal.
